Tokyo Tower might not be as high as the Tokyo Skytree, but it is equally impressive. It is a similar self-supported steel structure as the Eiffel Tower, but 13 meters taller. It was built in 1958 as a symbol of Japan’s post-war economic prowess. Much like the Tokyo Skytree, the Tokyo Tower is both a broadcasting antenna and a significant tourist attraction. At the foot of the tower you find the One Piece Tower indoor amusement center, café’s, shops, restaurants, and the ticket booth to ascend the tower. The main observation deck at 150 meters offers a beautiful view of the city below. The main floor also has a souvenir shop and café. From the main observation deck, there is an elevator that takes you to the top deck. The top floor stands at 250 meters and will dazzle you with its views of the city, Mount Fuji, and the Tokyo Skytree.
